STAMPS – Country Home
PAPER – Whisper White Thick – 4-1.4 x 11, scored at 5-1/2, Blackberry Bliss – 4 x 5-1/4, Shimmery White – 3 x 4; Galvanized Metallic Paper – 1-1/2 x 5-1/2, and a scrap to stamp pitcher
INKS –Memento Black, Jet Black Stazon, Stampin’ Blends and/or Markers, Blackberry Bliss, Smoky Slate (to decorate inside), Frost White Shimmer Paint 
OTHER – Big Shot, Tin Tile Dynamic TIEF, Subtle Dynamic TIEF, Layering Ovals Framelits, Linen Thread or Braided Linen Trim, Frosted & Clear Epoxy Droplets, Stampin’ Dimensionals, Frost White Shimmer Paint, Small Paint Brush, Adhesives

 Instructions

  • With Memento, stamp the pitcher and floral arrangement (the one with cotton bolls) on Shimmery White, close to, but not quite at the bottom, and die-cut with largest Scalloped Oval Framelit; color with Blends and/or Markers; paint cotton bolls with Frost White Shimmer Paint
  • Stamp pitcher again with Stazon on Galvanized Metallic scrap and fussy-cut – no need to cut out the handle; adhere over pitcher on Shimmery White
  • Emboss galvanized strip with Tin Tile TIEF – center pattern if desired; emboss Blackberry Bliss with Subtle TIEF; adhere Tin Tile piece to Blackberry Bliss and trim excess; adhere both to base
  • Add oval piece to front of card with Dimensionals; add Epoxy Droplets; add a Linen bow to pitcher handle with Mini Glue Dot
  • Decorate inside, if desired.

STAMPIN' UP!® LET IT RIDE (IN THE BARN) - PLAYING AROUND, AGAIN

Hello, Stampers!      Cloudy and gray yesterday; perfect for staying inside and playing with my stamps.  Let it Ride is a new set and I haven't used Barn Door in a while, soooo, what goes better with barns or stables than horses?       My barn wall is, of course, Wood Textures DSP - i couldn't get any easier than that.  The barn door (just cut in half) and mat are traditional Real Red, base is Very Vanilla.  I stamped the door in Early Espresso and also a few weeds or grains from Home to Roost at the bottom left. My chestnut Bay horse was stamped in Memento and colored with Dark Cajun Craze and Dark Smoky Slate Stampin' Blends.  The rope is just medium Baker's Twine.  Products are below.  Here's the inside. TURNABOUT STAMP - PLAYING WITH COLORFUL BACKGROUNDS

  Hello, Everyone -     I recently watched a YT video by Jennifer McGuire, where she made this type of colorful background.  Believe it or not, it is created with one stamp, called a Turnabout (by Concord & 9th).  The Turnabouts have been around for several years! This link, among several others, although mainly providing info on a "jig" which helps with using these stamps, also shows how to use the Turnabout stamps and great tips.   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7tccPeTlqCY   It takes a few preparation steps (you will need a Misti or Stamp-a-ma-Jog), but then you can go ahead and do several backgrounds and let your color ideas go wild.  Have fun! EASTER FUN

  Hey, Stampers -      I wish I could say these bunny ears were my idea, but I saw a similar idea on Pinterest, here .  Of course, I had to change it up to hiding bunnies. I used the large Daisy punch for the ears.  I'll probably add some bling to the background - sequins, pearls, SU! Fun Flowers Resin Shapes, etc., any would be cute.  The greeting is from DRS Designs.     If you don't have the fringe-cutting scissors, it really looks just as cute, and a little faster to make, with just a couple of layers of curved-edge cardstock with the bunnies tucked in between. You can also use just about any embossing folder for the background - I just happened to have this pre-embossed piece of So Saffron in my scraps basket. Cardstock is SU!: Highland Heather, Balmy Blue, Blushing Bride, Calypso Coral and Pear Pizzazz.  Happy Stampin’! Sue Duffy ~ mandsduffy@comcast.net
