Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous - Bold Botanicals

Hello, Everyone -     A few new stampin' "things" to play with.  The flower/background image is heat embossed on Fairy Hugs Craft Papers and the card background is also FH Craft Papers.  Here are the basic products I used for this card:     Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous - Bold Botanicals     Fairy Hugs Craft Papers - Rainbowdance     Versamark Ink, White embossing powder     Lavinia Stencil - Feather Leaf     A couple of different blues - Versafine Clair Ink Happy Stampin', Stampin' Sue

Hello, Everyone -     I recently watched a YT video by Jennifer McGuire, where she made this type of colorful background.  Believe it or not, it is created with one stamp, called a Turnabout (by Concord & 9th).  The Turnabouts have been around for several years! This link, among several others, although mainly providing info on a "jig" which helps with using these stamps, also shows how to use the Turnabout stamps and great tips.   It takes a few preparation steps (you will need a Misti or Stamp-a-ma-Jog), but then you can go ahead and do several backgrounds and let your color ideas go wild.  Have fun!
