STAMPIN' UP! QUEEN ANNE'S LACE IN PLAID

Image
Hi, Stampers!      The stamp set used here is Queen Anne’s Lace (p. 135 in the Annual Catalog).  Since it is in the AC, maybe you will get 10% off if you decide to order it on Tuesday.       The card base is Mango Melody.  The image was stamped in Versamark on Melon Mambo CS and embossed with White EP.  The rectangle was cut with one of the Stitched Rectangles dies.  The background is one of my favorite color combinations from the Plaid Tidings DSP Pack.  Perfect for brightening someone's day.  The embellishments are from the 2020-22 In Color Enamel Dots.  The ribbon is retired – White Flax – but any wide ribbon would work.     Hi, Stampers! Here are two more easy samples for you using the $12 Covid-19 .pdf that you can order here.   https://covid19.stampinup.com/ The two Quarantini cards are quick and easy to make.  The slightly different template was inspired by Jackie Bolhuis' card at Klompen Stampers.  Once again, I used retired DSP scraps, so I will not list that here.  The only stamp I used is "It's your day!," from the Under My Umbrella set, which fit perfectly over the top of the "Have another Quaran-tini" sentiment from the download.  Find measurements and supplies below. WHAT TO DO WITH YOUR LEFTOVER DIE CUT - BEAUTIFUL FRIENDSHIP NOTE CARD

Image
Hello, Stampers!      You may recall that when I posted about the Perrenial Essence Lilypad/Lakeside card, I suggested you hang on to the section you cut out with the Stitched Rectangle Die to form the frame.  This is what we created with that leftover rectangle - so pretty, so easy and so handy to have in your stash.  More info. STAMPIN' UP!'S BACK ON YOUR FEET FOR BEGINNERS CARD BUFFET

Hello, Stampers!      I hope you are able to stay reasonably cool during this miserable heat wave.  It looks like it might break overnight here in Indiana - I emphasize the word might.  I have used this good excuse to stay indoors to begin preparing for a card-making "outing" a professional friend of mine has planned for her staff early in August.  Each year the office closes for a day and she plans and treats her staff to a surprise outing - last year they did goat Yoga!  This class will certainly be a far cry from that.  They will do something outdoors for part of the day and then to my house - they have never stamped!          I pre-stamped all of the images for these note cards (based on cards shared on Pinterest by Amy Koendors, using the Scalloped Note Cards).  My group will stamp their own sentiments and, of course, color and assemble.  I even pre-tied the bows and, per a tip from my upline, attached them to a strip of glue dots!
