NATURE'S BEAUTY MASCULINE BIRTHDAY

Image
Hello, Stampers!      Veering away from the Christmas cards for this post; although with a change in color combination, it would be a perfect Christmas card  I'm so happy this set is not retiring when the Holiday Catalog ends!  This template is called the half door or half barn door.  It's very easy to make, so head to my blog to read more ! SNOW DOESN'T JUST MEAN WINTER! STAMPIN' UP! SNOW FRONT STAMP SET - PSST!

Snow Front (Photopolymer) #150483  $22 Host Code  HJ9CHKVS   Psst!  Mystery One-Day Sale Coming Next Week! Hi, Stampers!        Click the photo to get a close-up look at the stamps and click here to go to Pinterest to get some ideas, from works of art to the clean and simple. Of course, almost any set with trees grabs me, and I love the little deer!  Think about how you might combine it with parts and pieces of your Waterfront stamp set (#146386, p.125 AC) and more.  I love the samples I've seen with the Wrapped in Plaid Specialty DSP (#149596, p.14 HC) as the background layer.  Trees and holiday plaids, what could be better?  ;-) There are so many things you can do with this set. You can create a complete scene, or take little elements and create something new entirely, or create a no-layers card (some of my favorites, especially for note cards). The opportunities are endless. So. Many. Layers! This stamp set was designed as a Two-Step set, so pack on those layers,

MORE STAMPIN' UP! FLOWERING DESERT - INSPIRATION

Hiya, Stampers!      Do you like the new look of my blog header?  Color is always good.  Today's card is, I shudder to even mention, based on the gorgeous stamping artwork of Michelle Zindorf.  She is on Pinterest and her specialty is stunning backgrounds.   Okay, mine is somewhat based on Michelle's, okay, barely, well, not even close.  LOL  Michelle is, I believe, a trained artist.  Anyway, I had fun experimenting and creating this feeble attempt.      My stamp camp customers like me to keep it simple, so we will not be duplicating this effort at class in February (although we will be using Flowering Desert for another card or note), but I'll share details with you here and products I used.

Hello, Stampers!      I saw just a section of what I presume is a card very similar to this one, on France Martin's blog in a collage of projects.  I could not find the full card anywhere online, so I decided to just wing it.  You could certainly use any colors for the "bubbles," but I decided to stick with what I had seen on the blog, partially because they are not colors I would have chosen on my own - if that makes sense.  Go to my blog and let's get started.
