STAMPIN' UP! FABLE FRIENDS FOR EASTER AND BABY - April Stamp Camp

Image
Hi, Stampers!       I have always loved the illustrations in the Beatrix Potter tales and this set is inspired by those tales and Mother Goose, at least that's how it appears to me.  See my posts of March 10 and 27 for more Fable Friends samples.  Here are the details and products I used for these sweet little cards. Happy Stampin’! Sue Duffy ~ mandsduffy@comcast.net Details Chose desired color for vertical A2 card base to match Gingham Gala DSP. Trim DSP for background to 5-1/4 x 4 and adhere to front of card base.  I used a small pattern from the Needlepoint Nook DSP. Add a strip of Gingham Gala DSP 2" x 5-1/2" and adhere to middle of DSP layer. Trim a piece of card stock to match the card base to 1-3/4" x 4-1/2" and punch one end with the Banner Triple Punch. Trim a piece of Shimmery White CS to 1-1/2" x 4-3/8", punch one end with Banner Triple Punch.  Stamp bunny with Memento Black and color with Stampin' Blends, coloring th

PLAYING AROUND (AGAIN)! FAIRY TALE BIRTHDAY with FABLE FRIENDS

Hello, Stampers!      I picked up some new toys this past weekend at the Heirloom show in Danville, IN.  I purchased this book stamp and die set from Toomuchfunrubberstamps.      My sentiment and Peter Rabbit book title were created on my laptop after much trial and error.  I printed them on labels, added to card stock and punched out or die-cut.  The book is stamped on Whisper White in Crumb Cake and stamped again on the DSP in Soft Suede, then die-cut. glued, etc.  I used a retired tri-corner punch for the corners on the DSP, but there is a pretty punch that is current, called "Detailed Trio," on p.211 in the Annual Catalog.  The Fable Friends set also makes adorable baby cards, of course.     The main Stampin' Up! products I used are set out below on my blog.  Please do leave a comment with any questions. INSPIRE.CREATE.CHALLENGES - #038 Sketch Challenge

Image
Hi, Stampers!      The above Inspire.Create.Challenges 038 Sketch Challenge was too simple for me to pass up.  I flipped it and used a piece of Whisper White Country Floral embossed card stock and added my cute squirrel friend from Fable Friends. Both were colored with Stampin' Blends. The lavender background is from the Needlepoint Nook DSP pack.  That's it! Happy Stampin’! EMPATHY CARD FOR A FRIEND - I THINK STAMPIN' UP! SHOULD HIRE ME - NEEDLEPOINT NOOK DSP

Image
Hiya, Stampers!      I have a friend who is going through some aggravating times right now, so I hope she gets a chuckle out of this card.  (I hope she doesn't read my blog, because I haven't mailed it yet - I'm pretty sure she doesn't - she's not a crafter or stamper.)      I couldn't resist these puns, I think that's what they are, anyway.  I created the sentiments in Word.  The inside sentiment says, "Sew sorry times are tough right now."  ;-)  They made me smile.  Details on my Blog.
