Hi, Stampers!
To me, Poppy Parade is what I always call "Chinese red," so what better to use with the Artistically Asian set.  Although, to be precise, I believe the "writings" are Japanese. 😊Anyway... let's get started!

Sue Duffy ~

EASY BOKEH NOTE CARDS - September Stamp Camp

Hi, Stampers!
These simple note cards are perfect for any occasion or no special occasion at all - just a note to say.....   So, let's get started!

Sue Duffy ~

  • Using your Stamparatus, stamp one of each of the Bokeh Dots backgrounds onto each note card in desired colors.  Stamp a couple of times, if necessary.  I used Blushing Bride and Daffodil Delight here.
  • Stamp desired Artistically Asian and Dandelion Wishes images.  Here, I used Memento Black for the Artistically Asian images and Blueberry Bushel for the Dandelion image.
  • Decorate coordinating envelopes and inside of note card(s), if desired.
Here are a couple more options for you.  These backgrounds are in Balmy Blue and Powder Pink.  The Dandelion is stamped in Merry Merlot.

Send me an email for FREE Printable Project Sheets for any of my stamp camp projects.

Hi, Stampers!
Just two things before we get started on this card:  I apologize if I got you excited for the Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalog and that you could order on September 1 in my last post.  That was incorrect.  The effective date of the HC is September 5.. Second, don't forget, Stamp Camp is next Saturday, August 25!  Once again, I will have projects sheets for you!  Please don't forget to RSVP by the end of the day Monday.  Thanks!  Now, on to our card.
Some of the patterns in the Share What You Love Specialty DSP felt oriental to me, so I decided to pair one of them with the Artistically Asian stamp set.  I've added a close-up so you can see the lovely pearl satin sheen on the flowers.  Four of the patterns in this pack have pearl/satin accents.
Unfortunately, some of the cards we need the fastest are sympathy, get-well and thank you, and Artistically Asian works for all.  Click on the images below to view the the DSP and included sentiments on my SU! online store.
Wonder what the Japanese writing/symbols mean?  I'm told that the one I used above means "friendship," and the other, "faith."  Let's get started.
