STAMPIN' UP!® LASTING LILY FOR A WEDDING and SALE-A-BRATION WINDING DOWN SOON

Image
Hi, Stampers!      To some of us, lilies mean not just sympathy and Easter, but weddings.  What's great about this set, with just two sizes of one flower, is that you can use any color you like and customize your card to match the couple's wedding color scheme, which makes it an even more special keepsake.      Remember, this popular set is available only during Sale-A-Bration, as a Level 2 reward and it is now on Low Inventory.      I stamped the lilies in Flirty Flamingo ink using the Stamparatus, and the stems and leaves with Pear Pizzazz.  If you have the Lily Framelits, you can die-cut them or, they are easily hand-cut.  Unfortunately, the Framelits have just sold out.      The lacy cut-out on my Whisper White card front was made using Eastern Medallion Thinlits. The layer behind it is Soft Sea Foam and the card base is Flirty Flamingo.  I added a bow of 5/8" Polka Dot Ribbon and a wedding sentiment from a retired set (Rose Wonder).  I often associate pearls wit

Stampin' Up!® LASTING LILY SYMPATHY CARD

Hello, Stampers -      The majority of the sentiments in the Lasting Lily Stamp Set (FREE with $100 order) are for sympathy cards.  In yesterday's post, I shared an Easter card.  I came across the embossed lily idea online and since it seemed to show best on black, I figured this one should definitely be a sympathy card, much as we hate to have to send them.  Let's get started!        You can find a product list on my blog . Sue Duffy ~ mandsduffy@comcast.net Instructions Card base is WW Thick CS; the Daffodil Delight layer is 4 x 5-1/4 and the black started out as 5 x 3-3/4.  Scraps of Shimmery White and Daffodil for the sentiment. Lightly dust the black cs with the Embossing Buddy, then stamp Lily, stem and leaf with Versamark ink; cover with White EP and heat emboss. Cut a curved edge on the black cs by hand or use the curved edge die from the In the Woods Framelits Dies, placing die at roughly 1" from right edge of black at top and bottom. Highlight
