NORTHERN LIGHTS WITH STAMPIN' UP! MOUNTAIN AIR

Image
Hello, Stampers!     This lovely northern lights card was one of my October Stamp Camp projects.  Really fun, if you like sponging.  ;-)  The moon was stamped with Versamark (don't forget to use an embossing buddy!) and embossed with white EP.  The colors are:  Mossy Meadow CS and ink, Night of Navy CS and ink (or Memento to stamp mountains on Navy), Highland Heather, Daffodil Delight and Old Olive, all sponged onto Shimmery White CS.  The stars were added with the white Chalk Marker.  Supplies are below. CREATE ONE, GET ONE! DOUBLE DUTY DELIGHTFULLY DETAILED SPECIALTY DSP - May Stamp Camp

Image
Hi, Stampers!       More from my May DSP-focused Stamp Camp.  We turned our Delightfully Detailed Laser-Cut Specialty DSP into a stencil!  The key to not tearing this delicate open-work design is to pounce the color on with your sponge, don't swirl or go back and forth, like we usually do.  There are two advantages to this technique of sponging:  this background looks like it was spritzed and the other, I'll show you later, so be sure to "Read more..." Happy Stampin’! STENCILED CONGRATS CARD - PAPER PLAYERS CHALLENGE #433 - NEW! CARDS FOR SALE!

Image
Hi, Stampers!     I have a new stencil (from Funky Fossils) and although that is not the name of the design, to me it screamed skyscrapers, urban, big city, etc.  I knew exactly how I wanted to use it and the The Paper Players Challenge 433 - One Layer Wonder - fit the bill, as well.      I sponged the stencil on Whisper White CS with Pacific Point and also thinly around the edges.  The "congrats" is die-cut from the Sale-a-Bration Grapefruit Grove Foil with the Sunshine Wishes Thinlits and the sentiment is from the Stampin' Up! set, Lift Me Up.  The card base is Grapefruit Grove CS. Products on my blog or below.       CARDS FOR SALE ANY of the cards you see on my Blog can be purchased!  Far less $ than in a store.  If anyone is interested, post a comment and I will set a general price. MORE STAMPIN' UP! FLOWERING DESERT - INSPIRATION

Image
Hiya, Stampers!      Do you like the new look of my blog header?  Color is always good.  Today's card is, I shudder to even mention, based on the gorgeous stamping artwork of Michelle Zindorf.  She is on Pinterest and her specialty is stunning backgrounds.   Okay, mine is somewhat based on Michelle's, okay, barely, well, not even close.  LOL  Michelle is, I believe, a trained artist.  Anyway, I had fun experimenting and creating this feeble attempt.      My stamp camp customers like me to keep it simple, so we will not be duplicating this effort at class in February (although we will be using Flowering Desert for another card or note), but I'll share details with you here and products I used.

MORE OF ALL THE GOOD THINGS FOR YOU - August Stamp Camp

Hello, Stampers!      I saw just a section of what I presume is a card very similar to this one, on France Martin's blog in a collage of projects.  I could not find the full card anywhere online, so I decided to just wing it.  You could certainly use any colors for the "bubbles," but I decided to stick with what I had seen on the blog, partially because they are not colors I would have chosen on my own - if that makes sense.  Go to my blog and let's get started.
