MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL BUNDLE - QUICK HOLIDAY CARDS

Hi, Stampers!
Just a short post to share these quick Holiday/Christmas cards.  Aren't they beautiful?  I just love the All is Bright DSP for a background that needs little embellishment.
On my samples above, I just used the DSP cut at 3-3/4" x 5", a mat of 4 x 5-1/4 and a white card base.  I used a Real Red CS mat for the Merry Christmas card and Merry Merlot CS for the other two.  The "Merry" and "Holiday" die cuts are in Gold Foil and the "Christmas" die cut is Merry Merlot CS.  All were attached with the sponged Liquid Multi technique, or you can use just tiny dots of Multi here and there.  Sentiments on card fronts were stamped, die cut and popped up - all included in this bundle.
Stamp the desired holiday sentiment(s) inside and you're done!

Happy Stampin'!

LILYPAD LAKE SAILBOATS ON A GRACEFUL GLASS "SEA"

Hello, Stampers!
I must start by giving credit where it is due to Tracy Elsom (SU! Demo in Nova Scotia) for this wonderful idea for this vellum pattern.  As usual, I did change a couple of things - I changed the sentiment and added an additional sailboat.  Let's get started!

Measurements
Thick White CS - scored horizontally or vertically
Whisper White CS - 2 x 5-1/2
Bermuda Bay CS - 2-1/4 x 5-1/2; 1-5/8 x 2-3/4 (for sentiment_
Graceful Glass Vellum in wave pattern - 2 x 5-1/2
Shimmery White CS - enough for sailboats and sentiment

Instructions

  • Color wave pattern vellum all over with Dark Pool Party Blends - I used two layers of color
  • Color sections where desired with Dark Bermuda Bay and Light Night of Navy Blends
  • Lightly sponge liquid glue onto 2" WW strip and attach vellum; adhere these layers to 2-1/4" Bermuda Bay piece and then add to card front
  • Stamp sailboats from Lilypad Lake onto Shimmery White CS with Memento ink and color with Blends as desired - I used Smoky Slate, Real Red, Light Night of Navy and Dark Daffodil; mount onto vellum with Mini Glue Dots
  • Stamp sentiment from Lilypad Lake on Shimmery White and die cut with small label die from Lakeside Framelits; adhere to small Bermuda Bay strip and mount on card front with Dimensionals

BONUS DAYS COUPONS and TIMELESS TIDINGS PROJECT KIT

Bonus Days

Hello, Stampers!
As you can tell from yesterday's post, I'm still working on my subject line issues.  Aaaaargh!
So, if today's post subject line is messed up, I'm hoping you all know enough to open it anyway because it's just to remind you that you only have two days to redeem the coupons you earned in August.

Timeless Tidings Project Kit     Also, the Timeless Tidings Project Kit is now on backorder (#148028 $20 stamp set 148936 $20 CM p.33 HC ).  If you want to get on the list, you can still order it and it should be available at the end of October.  Still plenty of time to get your cards made because it is super easy to use. It is a lovely kit (we used it the other day) and my cards

Hi, Stampers!
As you can probably tell from the long, long subject line on yesterday's Stamparatus-related post, I'm still new at perfecting The Silver Stamper blog!  😬  In furtherance of more testing, you get the benefit of a sneak peek at this bright and cheery Fall card; one of our projects for October stamp camp (Oct. 13).
I'll provide the products I used below, but you'll have to wait until stamp camp for the rest!

SU! COUNTRY HOME, TWO FOR TUESDAY

COUNTRY HOME WITH TIN TILE

COUNTRY HOME WITH BUFFALO CHECK
Hello, Stampers!
Thought I'd share the fruits of my play time this weekend with my new goodies from the Holiday Catalog.  With the exception of the "walls," there aren't many obvious differences between them.  My milk can is supposed to look like it's standing on the wood plank floor - does it?
A couple of notes:  I colored the cattails with Copper Shimmer Paint and the cotton on the other card with Frost White Shimmer Paint, and on each added a little Wink of Stella here and there.  Let's get started.

Measurements (same for each card unless noted)
Thick White Card Stock base; score at 5-1/2 for vertical or 4-1/4 for horizontal card
Balmy Blue Card Stock base for Tin Tile card, 5-1/4 x 4 piece for inside
Whisper or Shimmery White scraps for milk can and flower arrangement (and for sentiment on Buffalo Check card)
4 x 5-1/4 Daffodil Delight Card Stock for mat on Buffalo Check card
4 x 5-1/4 Whisper White for Tin Tile card (3-7/8 x 5-1/8 for Buffalo Check card)
3-7/8 x 2 Wood Textures DSP of your choice (4 x 2 for Tin Tile card), plus a 1/4" or 1/2" strip for "baseboard"
Light wood pattern from Wood Textures DSP for sentiment on Tin Tile Card.

VIBRANT GRACEFUL GLASS VELLUM FOR THE HOLIDAYS

Hi, Stampers!
It's been a while since I've posted, I know.  I've been working on a scrapbook of our London and Paris trip this summer and as one who does not scrapbook (only one previous scrapbook, ever), it has been quite the project!  See what I mean?  How do you reduce 245 photos to a reasonably-sized scrapbook?!  LOL  There's a whole stack of photos still in my office!
Anyway, let's get to this Graceful Glass Vellum holiday/Christmas card.  The colors didn't show up as vibrant as I would have liked in this photo. The measurements are the same as the card we made at September Stamp Camp (posted Sept. 8). So let's get started!
Send me an email for a FREE project sheet.

OPTION 2: FESTIVE FARMHOUSE SUITE HOLIDAY CARDS

Hi, Stampers!
I made some changes, but the above cards are pretty much a CAS from the Holiday Catalog (pp.12-13) of the samples pictured for the Farmhouse Christmas Bundle. One of the reasons I had to have this set is the truck - love it!  And the fence can be used for any occasion, especially fun for Halloween.  I'm sure a few of you are thinking, "all those die-cuts, ugh!"  With your Stamparatus, you can mass-produce and stamp the die cuts in nothing flat!  Seriously.  I gave a little demo at Stamp Camp this month.

CAN"T WAIT TO TRY THIS DYNAMIC TIEF WITH THE COUNTRY LANE SUITE FOR FALL

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8pvPXJ216ng
Images © Stampin' Up!®

Hello, Stampers!
Where have you seen this pattern before?  Look up!  Is there a tin ceiling in one of your favorite restaurants?  I know of at least one here in Mooresville,  I love this Dynamic Embossing Folder, Tin Tile.  It is great with regular cardstock, foils and, especially with the tin-look Galvanized Metallic Paper on p.43 in the Holiday Catalog.  (I don't generally spray my cardstock first, as shown in the video above, and  it seems fine - try using an acetate shim instead.)
Here's a little $-saving tip for you:  Do you still have SU!'s Brushed Silver, Gold or Copper cardstock from years ago?  The Brushed Silver especially provides a very similar look to the new Galvanized Metallic Paper!  I'm looking forward to experimenting with it, the Country Home stamp set (perfect for Thanksgiving) and the Chicken Wire!  Stay tuned.
