STAMPIN' UP!S COUNTRY FLORAL DYNAMIC TIEF - THE ALL-OCCASION CARD FOR YOUR PERSONAL STASH

Hello, Stampers!
I can't get enough of this Dynamic TIEF - Country Floral.  This TIEF will be carried over to the Annual Catalog.
I created this simple card (and others) to keep on hand - an appropriate sentiment to be die-cut or punched out and added later, as needed.  It's a little bright and cheery for a condolence card,* but it's just right for Easter, spring, birthday, anniversary, get well or "just checking in."  The details are below.

*See my February 28 post for a softer look that would be appropriate for a condolence card.

Happy Stampin’!

Details
  • The Gingham Gala DSP covers the front of the card base, an A2 top fold in Whisper White Thick CS.  The Country Floral embossed piece is 1/4 sheet of Shimmery White CS, trimmed to 5 x 3-3/4 after embossing.
  • After embossing, I used Stampin' Blends in the colors below to color the flowers and leaves and a few random larger dots here and there.  I added a sheer ribbon and then adhered the layers with Multi liquid glue.  I added pearls to the center of the Light Calypso Coral flowers from the Share What You Love pearls.

ENCOURAGEMENT CARD WITH STAMPIN' UP!® FABLE FRIENDS

Hi, Stampers!
The images in the SU! Fable Friends set are so like the adorable illustrations in Beatrix Potter books, and I love these little ducklings.  I kept thinking, "ducks in a row, ducks in a row..."  I decided the phrase was perfect for someone in our family trying to cope with a major life change and, voila!, I utilized my newly discovered (to me, anyway) method to add my own verse inside a card.  It sure opens up lots of possibilities!
I've listed products below, which is really all you need to know.  Everything else is pretty much standard.  The Shimmery White stitched rectangle is 2-3/8 x 3-5/8; the offset piece of Grapefruit Grove is 2-3/4 x 3-3/4.  One note of caution:  use markers, not Blends for coloring the mama goose on the inside of your card, because it might show through the back - take it from me.  ;-(

QUICK & EASY STAMPIN' UP! FABLE FRIENDS TREAT TAGS FOR EASTER

Hello, Stampers!
It's never too early to start on making favors when you have to make about 20 of them!  And when the Easter candy hits the shelves, I get started. Out of necessity, I always try to come up with something quick and easy to share. These little bags hold a dozen Easter "eggs" (by M&M's) and are tied with whatever thick or medium SU! Baker's twine I had laying around, or a narrow ribbon works great, too.
I used pieces of Gingham Gala DSP for the tags (p.35, OC) cut 2 x 4-1/2 and punched with the Tag Topper Punch and I rounded the corners.  I stamped the bunny and goose in Memento on WW card stock and colored just a few areas with Blends - clothes, ears, bill, feet - and die-cut with a scalloped oval from the Layering Ovals Framelits Dies.  Stamped the sentiment in color or Memento.  Oval is added with liquid glue, the sentiment with a glue dot or Dimensionals. Tie your bag shut, add and tie the tag and you're done!  I've only got 15 more to go!  ;-D  Products are below.

HAND DELIVERED FOR ST. PATTY'S DAY and I FINALLY LEARNED HOW TO PRINT CUSTOM SENTIMENTS INSIDE A CARD!

Card 1

Hello, Stampers!
I don't know about where you are, but here in Indiana, we have high winds - in fact, our mailbox post snapped!  It was getting loose and most likely the in-ground part was pretty rotten.  But still - yikes!
Anyway, I just wanted to make one or two St. Patrick's Day cards - as you have probably figured out, DH is Irish.  I don't have any Patty's Day sets, so I settled on the Stampin' Up! host set, Hand Delivered (p.229).  Also, I no longer have any Patty's Day sentiment stamps except my 15-year-old Teeny Tiny Wishes set, so what do I add on the inside?
I grabbed a big mug of tea and set to work.  I use MS Word so I looked online starting with that, and what I saw involved text boxes and paper sizes, etc., and my printer is pretty old, so I have to use standard sizes.  Me thought to meself, there must be an easier way.  After quite a bit of trial and error, I have three documents saved all set up, just using different margins.  Ta dah!
It's much faster, of course, to stamp something, but if you don't have what you want or need, there are lots of free sentiments online, so long as you are mindful of copyrights, etc.
Here is the second, easier card I made - same set, but I didn't go so overboard on the balloons.  Find the instructions for these cards on my blog.  Just click any of the photos and "read more" on the blog.

STAMPIN' UP!® SALE-A-BRATION CAS - LASTING LILY FOR EASTER

Hello, Stampers!
I really like the sample card in the Sale-a-Bration Brochure on p.18, so I decided to see if I could duplicate the look.  It was pretty easy, really, especially with the Lily Framelits Dies that will be available to purchase March 1-31 during the SAB Coordination Promotion.  You can find more info about that promo in my February 5 post, here.  Let's get started.  Full Instructions are on my blog.

WREATH/CIRCLE-STAMPING WITH THE STAMPARATUS - PERENNIAL BIRTHDAY WREATH, Feb. 2019 Stamp Camp

Hello, Stampers!
This floral wreath card can be created in just about any color you choose.  If you want to accent with the Gingham Gala DSP as we did here, use Highland Heather, Balmy Blue, Grapefruit Grove, Daffodil Delight or Lemon Lime Twist for your flowers or leaves and buds.  This wreath is stamped with the individual stamps in Perennial Birthday.
The card base is a simple WW Thick, vertical cut/score.  The wreath is stamped on a piece of 4x4 Whisper White with a 4-1/8 square mat in Highland Heather.  The Gingham DSP is 1-1/4 x 4-1/4. Instructions and template are below.  Let's get started!

IS A VALENTINE IN ANY OTHER COLOR JUST AS SWEET? STAMPIN' UP! ANIMAL OUTING BUNDLE (AGAIN)

Hi, Stampers!
Can you tell I'm fond of the Animal Outing Bundle?  Of course, this doesn't have to be a Valentine, but I love the Grapefruit Grove 2018-20 In Color and also wanted to use some of the new Gingham Gala DSP from the Occasions Catalog.  Could be a thank you, anniversary, too.  Anyway, I just love this kind of haughty little giraffe from the Bundle and the heart Thinlits from Sunshine Wishes, which I die cut from the SAB FREE Grapefruit Grove (iridescent) Foil. There's also Lovely Lipstick in the foil pack for those of you who want to stick to the more traditional Valentine colors.  And, there is a perfect "love" die in the Sunshine Wishes set.  The giraffe was stamped with Memento on Shimmery White and colored with Stampin' Blends.
The leaf on which I stamped the sentiment is a die from the Tropical Thinlits (part of the Tropical Chic Bundle).  And, of course, I couldn't use one of my animals without the Leaf Ribbon!  See my January 9 post here.  Both the foil heart and the Leaf Ribbon are just adhered with a few rolled-up Glue Dots here and there.  I've listed supplies below - if you would like a more detailed Project Sheet with measurements and instructions, email me.
