IT'S JUST YOU AND ME, VALENTINE.

Hello, again, stampin' friends.     This simple card can also be used as an anniversary or even BFF card. First, on watercolor cardstock, using Stampin' Up! ink pads and the Aqua Painter (now called Water Painters), I created a washed landscape-type background.  The trees are from the Snowfront SU! stamp set, stamped in Gorgeous Grape.       I die cut a heart "window" with an older SU! hearts die set on white cardstock and mounted it over the watercolor background piece.  I stamped the rabbits with Versafine Clair Nocturne (black) ink and the hearts with red.  Rabbits:  Lavinia Stamps Wild Hares (large) set.

ANOTHER MUSIC FROM THE HEART (Retiring)

Hi, Stampers! One of the reasons I like this set is that I thought it would be great for Valentines Day cards, with this sentiment in particular.  The sketch for this card is by Mary Fish - I changed it a little color-wise and I used a different embossing folder.  I used what I had, which is the Seaside embossing folder (on the 3 x 5 Gorgeous Grape piece), an older whale-tale heart punch and the Subtle embossing folder on the 3 x 4 Real Red piece.  You can use any heart punch or heart dies. The white piece behind the red is 2 x 3-1/4.  I liked the way Mary offset this piece, so I did the same.  It is glued to the red and both popped up on Dimensionals.  See the inside on my Blog. SPECIAL VALENTINES - CAN YOU HAVE TOO MUCH LACE? STAMPIN' UP! ® LACE DYNAMIC TIEF

GINGHAM AND LACE Hi, Stampers!       Can you tell these photos are both the same card, just with different lighting?  I do love the FREE Grapefruit Grove iridescent foil in the Sale-a-Bration brochure.  I snapped the photo on the left near a window in natural light (it's overcast today) and couldn't seem to get the proper angle to show off the gorgeous highlights in this foil.  I had the card sitting on my desk getting ready to post some details and thought I'd see how it looked under my halogen desk lamp.  Wow!  So, I had to include both pics for you.      This is a really simple card, although certainly fussy-looking.  The mat layer is Smoky Slate because SS is the only gingham ribbon I have and I wanted to use it for a little contrast with all that lace.  The top layer is just WW embossed with the Dynamic Lace TIEF, as is the larger die-cut heart.  You could also emboss the smaller heart.  I decided to use "thankful for you" rather than the typic
