ONLY A FEW DAYS LEFT - 2018 STAMPIN' UP!© HOLIDAY CATALOG

Happy New Year, Stampers!
Just a reminder that there are still lots of items drastically reduced in the Year-End Closeout, Retiring Favorites, Discounted and Clearance Rack.  Take another look through your Holiday Catalog and just click the image above to get to my DBWS. For example, we all loved the many ideas online for the Country Home stamp set(p.43) and cards we created at stamp camp.  I don't see it listed below, so, I would guess that as of January 3, it is gone.
The First Frost stamp set and Frosted Bouquet Framelits are listed separately with the carryovers below. This means they will not be offered in carryover as a 10% off bundle.  So, if you want the bundle at 10% off, you need to order it now.  Want this stunning Frosted Floral Specialty DSP that coordinates with the First Frost and Bundle?  It is for sale in the Year-End Closeout, so, you'd best order it now, too!  I think you get the picture.
Frosted Floral 12 x 12 (30.5 x 30.5 cm) Specialty Designer Series Paper

Here are some of our favorites that will be carried over - yea!  You may notice that the Winter Woods stamp set does not mention a bundle, either - if you want the bundle, you need to order it now .  Also, the First Frost stamp set and Frosted Bouquet Framelits are listed separately, below.  This means they will not be offered in carryover as a 10% off bundle.  So, if you want the bundle at 10% off, you need to order it now (p.27).

Happy Stampin’ in 2019!

Hi, Stampers!
You were warned - more Country Home!  I hope you can see the beautiful copper patina on the Tin Tile piece on this card.  I CAS'd the technique (although it's an old one) from France Martin on YouTube, "Patina Technique."  Thanks for bringing this technique back to life, Frenchy!  Let's get started.

A quick email to me will get you a FREE printable Project Sheet!

SU! COUNTRY HOME, TWO FOR TUESDAY

COUNTRY HOME WITH TIN TILE

COUNTRY HOME WITH BUFFALO CHECK
Hello, Stampers!
Thought I'd share the fruits of my play time this weekend with my new goodies from the Holiday Catalog.  With the exception of the "walls," there aren't many obvious differences between them.  My milk can is supposed to look like it's standing on the wood plank floor - does it?
A couple of notes:  I colored the cattails with Copper Shimmer Paint and the cotton on the other card with Frost White Shimmer Paint, and on each added a little Wink of Stella here and there.  Let's get started.

Measurements (same for each card unless noted)
Thick White Card Stock base; score at 5-1/2 for vertical or 4-1/4 for horizontal card
Balmy Blue Card Stock base for Tin Tile card, 5-1/4 x 4 piece for inside
Whisper or Shimmery White scraps for milk can and flower arrangement (and for sentiment on Buffalo Check card)
4 x 5-1/4 Daffodil Delight Card Stock for mat on Buffalo Check card
4 x 5-1/4 Whisper White for Tin Tile card (3-7/8 x 5-1/8 for Buffalo Check card)
3-7/8 x 2 Wood Textures DSP of your choice (4 x 2 for Tin Tile card), plus a 1/4" or 1/2" strip for "baseboard"
Light wood pattern from Wood Textures DSP for sentiment on Tin Tile Card.

CAN"T WAIT TO TRY THIS DYNAMIC TIEF WITH THE COUNTRY LANE SUITE FOR FALL

Hello, Stampers!
Where have you seen this pattern before?  Look up!  Is there a tin ceiling in one of your favorite restaurants?  I know of at least one here in Mooresville,  I love this Dynamic Embossing Folder, Tin Tile.  It is great with regular cardstock, foils and, especially with the tin-look Galvanized Metallic Paper on p.43 in the Holiday Catalog.  (I don't generally spray my cardstock first, as shown in the video above, and  it seems fine - try using an acetate shim instead.)
Here's a little $-saving tip for you:  Do you still have SU!'s Brushed Silver, Gold or Copper cardstock from years ago?  The Brushed Silver especially provides a very similar look to the new Galvanized Metallic Paper!  I'm looking forward to experimenting with it, the Country Home stamp set (perfect for Thanksgiving) and the Chicken Wire!  Stay tuned.
