STAMPIN' UP!® LET IT RIDE (IN THE BARN) - PLAYING AROUND, AGAIN

Image
Hello, Stampers!      Cloudy and gray yesterday; perfect for staying inside and playing with my stamps.  Let it Ride is a new set and I haven't used Barn Door in a while, soooo, what goes better with barns or stables than horses?       My barn wall is, of course, Wood Textures DSP - i couldn't get any easier than that.  The barn door (just cut in half) and mat are traditional Real Red, base is Very Vanilla.  I stamped the door in Early Espresso and also a few weeds or grains from Home to Roost at the bottom left. My chestnut Bay horse was stamped in Memento and colored with Dark Cajun Craze and Dark Smoky Slate Stampin' Blends.  The rope is just medium Baker's Twine.  Products are below.  Here's the inside. Happy Stampin’! Sue Duffy ~ mandsduffy@comcast.net

SU! COUNTRY HOME, TWO FOR TUESDAY

COUNTRY HOME WITH TIN TILE COUNTRY HOME WITH BUFFALO CHECK Hello, Stampers!       Thought I'd share the fruits of my play time this weekend with my new goodies from the Holiday Catalog.  With the exception of the "walls," there aren't many obvious differences between them.  My milk can is supposed to look like it's standing on the wood plank floor - does it?      A couple of notes:  I colored the cattails with Copper Shimmer Paint and the cotton on the other card with Frost White Shimmer Paint, and on each added a little Wink of Stella here and there.  Let's get started. Measurements (same for each card unless noted) Thick White Card Stock base; score at 5-1/2 for vertical or 4-1/4 for horizontal card Balmy Blue Card Stock base for Tin Tile card, 5-1/4 x 4 piece for inside Whisper or Shimmery White scraps for milk can and flower arrangement (and for sentiment on Buffalo Check card) 4 x 5-1/4 Daffodil Delight Card Stock for mat on B

VIBRANT GRACEFUL GLASS VELLUM FOR THE HOLIDAYS

Image
Hi, Stampers!      It's been a while since I've posted, I know.  I've been working on a scrapbook of our London and Paris trip this summer and as one who does not scrapbook (only one previous scrapbook, ever), it has been quite the project!  See what I mean?   How do you reduce 245 photos to a reasonably-sized scrapbook?!  LOL  There's a whole stack of photos still in my office!      Anyway, let's get to this Graceful Glass Vellum holiday/Christmas card.  The colors didn't show up as vibrant as I would have liked in this photo. The measurements are the same as the card we made at September Stamp Camp (posted Sept. 8). So let's get started!     Send me an email for a FREE project sheet. Sue Duffy ~ mandsduffy@comcast.net Measurements Very Vanilla Thick CS (you could use any color you like) - 4-1/4 x 11, score at 5-1/2, small scrap for sentiment "label" Whisper White - 3-1/4"- 3-1/2" square Wood Textures DSP - 3-1/2"

DOUBLE-FRAMED STAIN GLASS "WINDOW " - September Stamp Camp

Hi, Stampers!      If you missed Stamp Camp today, here's one of the - not as tedious as it looks - cards we created.  Last month, I saw a version of this framed stained glass idea on France Martin's blog (Frenchiestamps.com) and knew I had to attempt it.  It was easier than I thought, especially since I changed up and/or eliminated several steps and enlarged France's measurements a little to make it easier.  So, let's get started! Sue Duffy ~ mandsduffy@comcast.net Measurements Very Vanilla Thick CS (you could use any color you like) - 4-1/4 x 11, score at 5-1/2, scrap large enough to cut oval for sentiment and small die cut for inside, approx 3 x 2 Whisper White - 3-1/4"- 3-1/2" square Wood Textures DSP - 3-1/2" square and a second piece 3" or 3-1/4" square (3-1/4" will provide a wider top frame Graceful Glass Vellum - I used one 3x3 from a 6x6 sheet

WARM APPLE PIE by Debbie

Image
Hi, Stampers!     Trying to get back into the stampin' routine, so since it's so, so hot outside, thought I would stay in and play.  I saw a tutorial for this "pie" card by Debbie Henderson, but didn't totally CASE it.  I only had some of the items she used and because I'm an inside-the-box stamper, generally, I wanted my pie to look even more "real."  I even added a pie pan! Let's get started.
