The Silver Stamper

Hi, Stampers!     This will be short because I need to complete my blog post so the link on Freshly Made Sketches will work!  The flowers from Hand-Penned Petals are stamped on a piece of Shimmery White CS cut 3 x 3-3/4.  I rounded the outside corners with the oldy but goody Large Corner Rounder Punch and the card base is Seaside Spray - I don't discard my retired CS and this color is one of my favorites!  The Happy Birthday greeting was cut with a die from Altenew.   Hello, Stampers!     Let me start with credit to Kim Singdahlsen ( joyfulcreationswithkim ) for her card created based on a Freshly Made Sketches challenge.  So clever to imagine a mountain and lake scene composed of triangles.     My lake and mountain triangles are cut from Shimmery White CS (of course) and blended with Balmy Blue, Blackberry Bliss and Gorgeous Grape, respectively.   The trees are Shaded Spruce and Evening Evergreen, as is the mat layer.  My "canvas" is just Basic White run through the Subtle 3D embossing folder once.

Hi, Stampers!      Above is my submission for FMS Challenge #363.  Here is the template.  Read on.      I've been wanting to make something with the pretty irises in the Graceful Glass Vellum paper stack and, since the panel is long and narrow, this sketch fit the bill.  My irises panel is full card length, but I think that will still be acceptable.  Then, what to use for the accent strip.  I looked through all of my current DSP and found this "marble" pattern in the Petal Promenade DSP - perfect - stained glass and marble.     The only other adjustment I made to the sketch is that I trimmed my card front at 3-1/4" and added the DSP strip to the exposed inside of the card.  Not sure if you can tell that from the photo.
