STAMPIN' UP! QUEEN ANNE'S LACE IN PLAID

Image
Hi, Stampers!      The stamp set used here is Queen Anne’s Lace (p. 135 in the Annual Catalog).  Since it is in the AC, maybe you will get 10% off if you decide to order it on Tuesday.       The card base is Mango Melody.  The image was stamped in Versamark on Melon Mambo CS and embossed with White EP.  The rectangle was cut with one of the Stitched Rectangles dies.  The background is one of my favorite color combinations from the Plaid Tidings DSP Pack.  Perfect for brightening someone's day.  The embellishments are from the 2020-22 In Color Enamel Dots.  The ribbon is retired – White Flax – but any wide ribbon would work. STAMPIN' UP!'S COUNTRY ROAD IN COPPER

Image
Hi, Stampers!      Stampers at my July camp could make either one of these cards and could also reverse mat colors, etc.  However, all of the weather vanes are heat embossed with Copper EP.       On the focal point piece, the light backgrounds were stamped, then we used the Embossing Buddy before stamping with Versamark and heat embossing.   The feint backgrounds are from the Gallery Grunge set and stamped with Crumb Cake Ink, some stamped off first. The stars on the card on the right are stamped in Balmy Blue, stamped off, first.  The sentiment is in Early Espresso.      The focal points are 3 x 2-1/4 WW Thick CS.  The colored CS is Pool Party and Early Espresso.  The focal point is lightly sponged around the edge with Crumb Cake and the white mat with Balmy Blue. Stampin' Up!® LASTING LILY SYMPATHY CARD

Image
Hello, Stampers -      The majority of the sentiments in the Lasting Lily Stamp Set (FREE with $100 order) are for sympathy cards.  In yesterday's post, I shared an Easter card.  I came across the embossed lily idea online and since it seemed to show best on black, I figured this one should definitely be a sympathy card, much as we hate to have to send them.  Let's get started!        You can find a product list on my blog . Sue Duffy ~ mandsduffy@comcast.net Instructions Card base is WW Thick CS; the Daffodil Delight layer is 4 x 5-1/4 and the black started out as 5 x 3-3/4.  Scraps of Shimmery White and Daffodil for the sentiment. Lightly dust the black cs with the Embossing Buddy, then stamp Lily, stem and leaf with Versamark ink; cover with White EP and heat emboss. Cut a curved edge on the black cs by hand or use the curved edge die from the In the Woods Framelits Dies, placing die at roughly 1" from right edge of black at top and bottom. Highlight

SHADOWY WINTER WOODS - November 2018

Inspired by LeeAnnGreff - YouTube "3Techniques with the Stamparatus" Hi, Stampers!      Here is another project from my November 10 Stamp Camp.  LeeAnn Greff has a great video on YouTube on how to create this "shadow" effect - or, as I like to call it, three-dimensional.  These subtle trees also work well for a sympathy card.  Just send me an email me for a printable Project Sheet.
