WINTER WOODS HOMETOWN UNDER THE NORTHERN LIGHTS

NEW HOST CODE:  7294BAKP
Hi, Stampers!
I came across the inspiration for this card on Pinterest and just had to dropk everything and try the "technique."  It's so simple, I hesitate to even call it a technique - really just sponging.  So, let's get started.

Happy Stampin’!

Instructions

  • Small Stampin' Sponge wedges sponge your choice of colors in any pattern you like for your Northern Lights.  Northern Lights - Google it - are visible in many, many colors and shapes!  I used soft diagonal strokes (be sure to rub excess ink off your sponges first on scrap paper) in Coastal Cabana, Highland Heather, Lemon Lime Twist and a little Daffodil Delight.
  • Sponge around the outside of this piece with Night of Navy and then stamp Winter Woods tree line in Night of Navy and adhere to Coastal Cabana mat then to card base
  • Die cut Hometown Greetings houses and church from Sparkle Glimmer Paper placing tallest building (church) near the top of your 3 x 5 piece and adhere to focal piece with Tombow Multi along bottom and just a dot here and there on houses.  NOTE:  You don't need a second layer as you see above. I added this randomly cut layer to cover a piecing mistake. ;-)
