OPTION 2: FESTIVE FARMHOUSE SUITE HOLIDAY CARDS

Image
Hi, Stampers!      I made some changes, but the above cards are pretty much a CAS from the Holiday Catalog (pp.12-13) of the samples pictured for the Farmhouse Christmas Bundle. One of the reasons I had to have this set is the truck - love it!  And the fence can be used for any occasion, especially fun for Halloween.  I'm sure a few of you are thinking, "all those die-cuts, ugh!"  With your Stamparatus, you can mass-produce and stamp the die cuts in nothing flat!  Seriously.  I gave a little demo at Stamp Camp this month.

CAN"T WAIT TO TRY THIS DYNAMIC TIEF WITH THE COUNTRY LANE SUITE FOR FALL

Images © Stampin' Up!® Hello, Stampers!      Where have you seen this pattern before?  Look up!  Is there a tin ceiling in one of your favorite restaurants?  I know of at least one here in Mooresville,  I love this Dynamic Embossing Folder, Tin Tile.  It is great with regular cardstock, foils and, especially with the tin-look Galvanized Metallic Paper on p.43 in the Holiday Catalog.   (I don't generally spray my cardstock first, as shown in the video above, and  it seems fine - try using an acetate shim instead.)      Here's a little $-saving tip for you:  Do you still have SU!'s Brushed Silver, Gold or Copper cardstock from years ago?  The Brushed Silver especially provides a very similar look to the new Galvanized Metallic Paper!  I'm looking forward to experimenting with it, the Country Home stamp set (perfect for Thanksgiving) and the Chicken Wire!  Stay tuned. DOUBLE-FRAMED STAIN GLASS "WINDOW " - September Stamp Camp

Image
Hi, Stampers!      If you missed Stamp Camp today, here's one of the - not as tedious as it looks - cards we created.  Last month, I saw a version of this framed stained glass idea on France Martin's blog (Frenchiestamps.com) and knew I had to attempt it.  It was easier than I thought, especially since I changed up and/or eliminated several steps and enlarged France's measurements a little to make it easier.  So, let's get started! Sue Duffy ~ mandsduffy@comcast.net Measurements Very Vanilla Thick CS (you could use any color you like) - 4-1/4 x 11, score at 5-1/2, scrap large enough to cut oval for sentiment and small die cut for inside, approx 3 x 2 Whisper White - 3-1/4"- 3-1/2" square Wood Textures DSP - 3-1/2" square and a second piece 3" or 3-1/4" square (3-1/4" will provide a wider top frame Graceful Glass Vellum - I used one 3x3 from a 6x6 sheet
