STAMPIN' UP! SAILING HOME THROUGH STORMY SEAS

Hello, Stampers!
The first thing that came to my mind when I saw this particular pattern in the wonderfully colorful See a Silhouette Designer Series Paper, was a storm at sea.  So... I grabbed my Sailing Home Bundle because it is perfect for that theme, but I also made a second one using the sentiment, "Let hope be your lighthouse..." from the High Tide set.

Happy Stampin’!

.The card base is Balmy Blue, cut 4-1/4 x 11, scored at 5-1/2.  There is a 5-1/4 x 4 white panel inside.  I layered the 5 x 3-3/4 piece of DSP onto a 5-1/4 x 4 piece of Night of Navy CS.  I cut a 3-3/4" scrap of Night of Navy with the curvy die from the In the Woods die set (p.193), but it could easily be hand-cut.  I ran the piece through the Big Shot with the Seaside TIEF (ret.) and added it to the bottom of the DSP layer.
I stamped the lighthouse, sailboat and sentiment in Night of Navy on WW card stock, and die cut them with the Smooth Sailing dies.  I colored the light and the boat with Dark Daffodil Delight Blends and added Wink of Stella to the "light windows" of the lighthouse. Only the sentiment is popped up with Dimensionals.
