A WELL USED BRUSH IS A GOOD THING - Paint the Town

Image
Hello, Stampers!     I created this little birthday card yesterday for a book club friend.  I love these little mice by Colorado Craft. I created the inside sentiment in Word.  Supplies are below      Please don't hesitate to ask if you have any questions about any products I've used or where to find them.  I'll answer, if I can.   I've had some for quite some time and don't remember where I purchased them.   Hello, Stampers!     I may be leaving Stampin' Up! but I'm definitely still stamping.  This winter fantasy scene is my CAS from a Lavinia Stamps YouTube video tutorial (a couple of years ago!) by Tracey Dutton, founder of Lavinia Stamps. I stamped and sponged this winter night/"snow wreath" scene on Multifarious Smooth Cardstock with Versafine Clair Inks - Twilight, Warm Breeze and some accents in Blue Belle, with a little Morning Mist.  The only other accents were made with a white gel pen and a glitter gel pen. SOMETHING SIMPLE WITH HAND-PENNED PETALS for Freshly Made Sketches Challenge FMS530

Image
Hi, Stampers!     This will be short because I need to complete my blog post so the link on Freshly Made Sketches will work!  The flowers from Hand-Penned Petals are stamped on a piece of Shimmery White CS cut 3 x 3-3/4.  I rounded the outside corners with the oldy but goody Large Corner Rounder Punch and the card base is Seaside Spray - I don't discard my retired CS and this color is one of my favorites!  The Happy Birthday greeting was cut with a die from Altenew. SOMETHING DIFFERENT WITH WAVES OF INSPIRATION BUNDLE

Hello, Stampers!     I came across this template with the Waves of Inspiration on Pinterest, by SU! Demo Denita Wright (Australia).  Do you notice anything about the DSP strip?  Here's a close-up.

I LOVE SKYLINE IMAGES!

Hello, Stampers!     It's been some time since I've posted here, but that doesn't mean I haven't been creating on a regular basis.  I'd rather create than post!     I did want to share this super duper easy note card I created using New Horizons DSP and a non-SU! stamp.  Can you tell that this skyline is Indianapolis?  We'll imagine that the "water" is the White River.  ;-)  This is the back of the card.                                               I saw this stamp by Simply Stampin at the Too Much Fun stamp/craft show in Danville, IN last month and had to have it. I cut the "Indianapolis" off so I could use it on the back. There are, of course, many other city skylines. When I received my New Horizons DSP the light bulb came on!  So, so quick and easy.  SU! products are below. Happy Stampin’! Sue Duffy ~ mandsduffy@comcast.net Stampin' Up!
