ONE BACKGROND DIE, TWO OHMBRE CARDS - Simply Potted Succulents

Image
Hello, Stampers!     I'm still here.  Just doing some other forms of papercrafting, gel press, acrylic paints, etc.  This idea is certainly nothing new and not original to me (as usual).  It's really easy peasy to create this 2 4 1 background with the background die from the Potted Succulents Dies set.     First, die cut the background using Basic White or Shimmery White CS - you can use a bit larger piece and cut it down later.  Then, adhere your die-cut to another piece of Basic White or Shimmery CS with some Washi tape along a couple of edges.  Then the fun begins.     Ink up one of your blending brushes with Pool Party Ink and brush in swirls at the bottom third (or top, doesn't really matter) of your die-cut, which is now a stencil!  Feel free to peek to be sure you have enough color laid down.  At the middle, ink up your brush with Bermuda Bay ink and add that color, overlapping to blend in with the Pool Party.  Last, ink up your brush with Pacific Point, app

GORGEOUS PANSY PATCH

Image
Hi'ya, Stampers!     This Pansy Patch card was inspired by a Jo Blackman video tutorial on masking.  You can find it here . Jo is a talented Stampin' Up! Demonstrator in the UK.  I switched the colors on my version and added the Gingham Gala DSP (retired).     Lots of masking on this card but, remember, you can use them again.  Don't throw them away, even when they are filled with ink.  I hand-cut 3 of the solid image, smaller pansy and about 5 leaves.

SEA SHELLS WITH SUNNY STENCIL MASHUP

Image
Hello, again, Stampers!     Still playing with my stencils stash.  The stencil is called Sphere (Altenew).  I applied the color with blending brushes and sponges.  At the bottom is Crumb Cake, then Coastal Cabana as dark as I could get it, then I lightened up a little.  After that is Daffodil Delight and ultimately, Mango Melody.

SCENIC TRIANGLES

Hello, Stampers!     Let me start with credit to Kim Singdahlsen ( joyfulcreationswithkim ) for her card created based on a Freshly Made Sketches challenge.  So clever to imagine a mountain and lake scene composed of triangles.     My lake and mountain triangles are cut from Shimmery White CS (of course) and blended with Balmy Blue, Blackberry Bliss and Gorgeous Grape, respectively.   The trees are Shaded Spruce and Evening Evergreen, as is the mat layer.  My "canvas" is just Basic White run through the Subtle 3D embossing folder once.

TURN YOUR EMBOSSING FOLDER INTO A WATERCOLOR PALETTE - A SHAMELESS CASE

Hello, Stampers!     Isn't this undersea watercolor gorgeous?  I did create the cards shown here, but full credit must be given to Nadine at https://NadineKreativ.de.  Nadine is a talented Stampin' Up! demo in Germany. You can find her on Instagram, Pinterest and YouTube.  I've shown a very similar version below - the only difference being that I spritzed it with Lindy's Magicals powder (mixed with water) in Hydrangea Blue.     Keep reading for the instructions and supplies - fewer than you might think!
