BUMBLEBEE AND TERRACOTTA SU FINE ART FLORAL

 HOST CODE  2J4TB4B6

Hello, Stampers!

Remember, Sale-a-Bration ends this month!  Can you tell I love this Art Gallery Bundle?  And I wasn't going to order anymore flowers. Ha!  It's just so easy to use with any colors you like from subtle to bold.

I picked the colors above, Bumblebee and Terracotta Tile, because I saw them on the cover of a lovely photobook posted on her blog by Jan Clothier, a demo in New Zealand.  Jan chose Night of Navy for her base, etc.  I used Misty Moonlight.  The flowers and leaves are stamped on Shimmery White cardstock.  The leaves are Mossy Meadow.

I created a textured background for my card using the Potted Succulents Dies and Thick cardstock, but in my opinion, you could get the same effect with the Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder.  Supplies are below.

Happy Stampin’!

SIMPLY SUCCULENTS on ROCOCO ROSE

 Hello, again, Stampers!

This pot of succulents is mounted with Dimensionals on a piece of Oh So Ohmbre DSP in Rococo Rose.  There are print sides and plain sides of this FREE Sale-a-Bration 6x6 DSP.  Rococo Rose is one of my favorite colors.

I used pretty much the same Blends and marker colors on this card as I used on the card I posted on February 1, just tweeking them a little.  I die-cut the pretty coordinating openwork background from Whisper White/Basic THICK card stock for stablity.  The only place I used adhesive was around the outside edge.

Simply Succulents Bundle with Granny Apple Green

 Hiya, Stampers!

I played around this weekend with my most recent SU! bundle, Simply Succulents.  Lots of fun to color with our Stampin' Blends because the color range for succulents is endless, as you can see below.

STAMPIN' UP! ART GALLERY Bundle on EASY, DISTRESS INK/GEL PRESS BACKGROUND

Hi, Stampers -
Just a quick post with the Art Gallery Bundle.  The background layer is just simply distress ink, brayered on a Gel Press, then splashed with a little water and Prussian Blue Brusho (very little Brusho), using a fan brush, and then lifting a print.  I die-cut the layer with the largest of the Stitched Rectangles dies.  Flowers and leaves were stamped onto Shimmery White CS.  SU! supplies are below.

ART GALLERY - 2021 Pantone Colors

Hello, Stampers!

Today's card utilizes what are allegedly the top Pantone colors for 2021 - yellow and gray - which I am very fond of, actually.

I stamped the background on this card with Smoky Slate and Daffodil Delight, using an Altenew stamp set called Halftone Circles.  The Art Gallery flowers are Daffodil Delight, with the 2nd step in So saffron and Wink of Stella added over the 2nd step areas only.  I used a Basic Gray marker for the stems and leaf (I think I should have stuck with Smoky Slate).  I would suggest using Shimmery White for your flowers.  I didn't, and I'm a little disappointed.

The circle is cut with the largest of the Stitched Shapes dies.  The sentiment and scalloped sentiment die are part of the Art Gallery Bundle.  I added a few Basic Pearls and a Basic Gray mat.

PAINTED ART GALLERY

Hello, Stampers!
This card was created with the Art Gallery Bundle and Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder, the first items I purchased from the Stampin' Up! January-June 2021 Mini Catalog.  They are featured as part of the Fine Art Floral Suite (pp.32-33.)  Two things inspired my purchase:  to me, the flowers look like peonies, which I love, and I also love images that look hand-painted.  I also liked the bold sentiment die, which comes out in three pieces, so it's easy to use just one or all of them.  Below are the products I used.  The Painted Texture embossed layer is 5-1/4 x 4, the same color as the Pool Party base and added with just 4 glue dots so that it is just slightly raised.

Happy Stampin’!
