SENDING [YOU] SUNSHINE with STAMPIN' UP!

Image
Hello, Stampers!     It's a cold and dreary October day here in Indiana, so I thought I'd share a little sunshine.  This is one of the cards from my October Stamp Camp. This set makes "painting" a lovely water scene pretty darned easy.     The water is stamped with Balmy Blue, stamped off first, and not stamped off for the deeper section onto a precut piece of Shimmery White card stock.  The sentiment and the little darker "island" image are Balmy Blue.  The sun was stamped with Mango Melody and the leaves with Granny Apple Green. We used a circle punch to make a stencil and add the extra light around the sun with a sponge dauber.  Wink of Stella was brushed over the water.     T he DSP is from the Artistry Blooms pack.  Use any ribbon you like and add some enamel dots or sequins of your choice and you're done.  Products links are below.  Happy Stampin’! WAY TO GOAT by STAMPIN' UP! - TWO FOR ONE!

Image
Hey, Stampers -     Here are two more cards from my October Stamp Camp.  You get two cards with one run through your Big Shot or Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine!  Special thanks to The Stamp Doc (Melissa Stout) for her YouTube video tutorial, from which I learned how to use the Playful Alphabet Dies to make these fun cards, with my own take, of course - like "U 've goat mail" instead of "You goat mail."  Also, we used Rainbow Glimmer Paper instead of DSP.  Here is the link to the video:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WCv9tT_VAUM&t=3s   Be sure to give Melissa's video a 👍.  The goats are popped up on little wobblies springs.      There are several steps involved and it can  be a bit tedious, but everyone was successful in completing their cards.  I created a template for the letters once I had them lined up the way I wanted - just ran them through the Big Shot with scrap card stock.  You will understand more after watching the video.

NORTHERN LIGHTS WITH STAMPIN' UP! MOUNTAIN AIR

Image
Hello, Stampers!     This lovely northern lights card was one of my October Stamp Camp projects.  Really fun, if you like sponging.  ;-)  The moon was stamped with Versamark (don't forget to use an embossing buddy!) and embossed with white EP.  The colors are:  Mossy Meadow CS and ink, Night of Navy CS and ink (or Memento to stamp mountains on Navy), Highland Heather, Daffodil Delight and Old Olive, all sponged onto Shimmery White CS.  The stars were added with the white Chalk Marker.  Supplies are below. HELLO, PUNKIN!! SU! GATHER TOGETHER MISH MASH and MORE PLAID!

Image
Happy Fall, Stampers!      I just love pumpkins for Fall, so played again with the Gather Together pumpkins and a couple of elements from another set and some retired dies.       The base and card front are Mango Melody with a layer of Plaid Tidings.  The fence was die cut from the same plaid using the retired Farmhouse Framelits dies.  The bare tree is from Snow Front, stamped in Early Espresso, as is the sentiment.  The little leaves are die cut with tiny non-SU! dies I've had for some time - I think they were a gift.  Of course, if you have the new Autumn Punch Pack, even better!  I used white CS on the inside and just stamped and colored the two-pumpkin image at the bottom.

More Plaid Tidings with Love of Leaves

. Hiya, Stampers! Haven't posted in ages, and here I am doing several posts in one day.  Well, one of the reasons is that it is an absolutely gorgeous September day here and I have the laptop out on the screened porch!  Another is that I wanted to get caught up with my blog because I want to start looking online for inspiration and play around with some Christmas card ideas. Yes, another Plaid Tidings* card!  This particular plaid is my favorite.  I think because it contains several colors:  Black, Pumpkin Pie, Rich Razzleberry and Bumblebee. We embossed the Bumblebee CS withSupplies below. the Pinewood Planks 3D embossing folder, lined up and adhered a 3" square of Rich Razzleberry CS cut with the largest scalloped square die, and cut through both layers with the largest leaf from the Stitched Leaves dies.  A 3" square of plaid DSP was added behind these layers with Dimensionals before layering onto the card base.  We die cut leaves in Pumpkin Pie, Cajun Craze and Gold F

Quadrangle Cards with Altered Plaid Tidings, Daisy Lane and Love of Leaves - CASE COMBO

Hey, Stampers! These two September stamp camp cards are a combination of two ideas from the blogs of Connie Babbert (Inkspired Treasures) and LeeAnn Greff (Flowerbug's Inkspot).   The Plaid Tidings* pieces shown here did not originally contain the blue line. Connie shared that she simply took a ruler and the Light Night of Navy Stampin' Blends and drew her own accent color!  I would never have thought of that. The angled DSP was shared by LeeAnn and is a great way to decorate 4 cards with one sheet of 6x6 DSP.  She shared a video on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7x0WfVafXZ8&t=537s    For the mat layer, I cut a piece of colored CS 6-1/4 x 6-1/4 and marked each edge at 1-5/8 instead of what LeeAnn tried, although you will still have to do a little trimming on on or two sides. This will mean more to you once you check out LeeAnn's video. The leaves on the daisy card were cut with the Poppy Moments Dies. Supplies, colors, etc. are below. *15% off DSP Sale Octob
