UPDATE - PLAYING WITH STENCILS WITH SU! INK

Hey, Stampers!

As promised, I just tried the stencil-water-emboss technique with Stampin' Up! Rich Razzleberry ink and one of our Decorative Masks.  I believe it worked just as well as the Distress Ink.  It's not as easy to apply our ink evenly direct-to-paper, so I also tried it with a rubber brayer - many coats (top photo).  My inked piece is more evenly colored  (if that's what you want), but I am impressed with the top, transfer piece especially.

PLAYING WITH STENCILS TECHNIQUES

Hello, Stampers!
Did you know that you can use your stash of stencils and/or Decorative Masks as embossing folders?  All of the above patterns were created using stencils and my Big Shot.  And, in some cases, depending if you want to add a heavy coating of Distress Ink, you can even get a transfer image at the same time, like the top photo.  I haven't tried this yet with SU! inks, but I will.  It is a simple technique, but not quick.
