TURN YOUR EMBOSSING FOLDER INTO A WATERCOLOR PALETTE - A SHAMELESS CASE

Hello, Stampers!

Isn't this undersea watercolor gorgeous?  I did create the cards shown here, but full credit must be given to Nadine at https://NadineKreativ.de.  Nadine is a talented Stampin' Up! demo in Germany. You can find her on Instagram, Pinterest and YouTube.  I've shown a very similar version below - the only difference being that I spritzed it with Lindy's Magicals powder (mixed with water) in Hydrangea Blue.

Keep reading for the instructions and supplies - fewer than you might think!

The card base is Pretty Peacock (retiring In Color).  I used Soft Sea Foam for the mat layer and the sand dollar sentiment (Nadine used Sahara Sand).  The top layer is Shimmery White.

Open your Seashells 3D embossing folder and on the side that bears the SU! Logo, lightly add, direct from the pad, some Pear Pizzazz and Pretty Peacock ink in random areas.  Don't cover the whole thing (see Nadine's video - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PXEaRWb1huc&t=60s).  Spritz both sides of the open EF and your Shimmery White CS piece and insert into the folder.  Run through your embossing machine.  That's it!

Dab off excess liquid and remove card stock and let dry or dry with a heat gun on low and not too close.  Add whatever embellishments and inside stamping you like, adhere the layers and you're done.  I added dimensionala behind the larger shells to be sure they stayed dimensional.  Here is the other version - I used more Pretty Peacock than Pear Pizzazz on this one - I like the other one better.

Happy Stampin’!
