FALLEN LEAVES - SU! LOVE OF LEAVES

Hello, Stampers!

This card was to be one of my November Stamp Camp projects - the camp that never was.  The template/sketch is certainly too clever to be my idea - it was inspired by Jaydee of jaydeestamping.com - but, as usual, I did change it up a little.

The base and top layers are both Very Vanilla Thick CS.  You can see beneath the leaves a layer of Seaside Spray CS adhered to the front of the base.  I used the largest scalloped oval die from the Layering Ovals set to cut the oval and popped up that layer with scraps of  Foam Adhesive Sheets we used at last stamp camp, so it didn’t sag anywhere.

The leaves are Crushed Curry, Garden Green, Cajun Craze and Melon Mambo.  I also sponged them a little with the same colors, lightly sponged the front with Crushed Curry and arranged them in the oval simply using Dimensionals and Glue Dots.  The sentiment is stamped in Soft Suede.  I used a fan brush with some of our retired Vegas Gold Shimmer Paint with a little alcohol and spattered the front (and everything else nearby!).

Happy Stampin’!
