OPTION 1: GATHER TOGETHER TO MAKE TIMELESS HOLIDAY CARDS - SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 10


Hi, Stampers!
     I apologize for the fuzzy image above.  This is the only one I could find online at this point.  You can see this Project Kit (yep, it's a kit) on p.33 in the Holiday Catalog.  Click the above image for a video of what's in the kit and helpful info. The cards are quite elegant and sophisticated, the stamp font is bold and pretty and, of course, can be used in the future.  I wanted to offer this stamp-a-stack option to you early, since once the catalog goes live on Wednesday, I think this kit is going to go fast - I've already seen it featured on several blogs.  

     For the proposed 20-card stamp-a-stack you will need to order the Project Kit (cards, envelopes, accents - $20) and the Timeless Tidings stamp set ($20 for clear mount). The kit and clear stamp set = $40 + $4 s/h* + $3.08 tax = $47.08  You need to provide your own Jet Black Stazon.  I have a couple of Stazon pads, but not enough for everyone who might sign up. I will provide Dimensionals and adhesive.  Your Stamparatus  would be helpful for speed and accuracy, as well.

 *Minimum s/h is $6.95. The $4 quoted above is based on a group order.

      I'm offering this option since some of you have already asked if I would be hosting a Christmas stamp-a-stack.  It would be the easiest option for sure  You will need to let me know in the next few days if you are interested (or, if you are not).  If there is little interest, I will decide if I want to go another way.  E.g., I am looking at the Dashing Deer Bundle (pp. 8-9) and I have already recreated two cards from the Holiday Catalog with the Farmhouse Christmas Bundle (pp. 12-13), so we are looking at totally different styles from the Kit.

Hello, Stampers!      Cloudy and gray yesterday; perfect for staying inside and playing with my stamps.  Let it Ride is a new set and I haven't used Barn Door in a while, soooo, what goes better with barns or stables than horses?       My barn wall is, of course, Wood Textures DSP - i couldn't get any easier than that.  The barn door (just cut in half) and mat are traditional Real Red, base is Very Vanilla.  I stamped the door in Early Espresso and also a few weeds or grains from Home to Roost at the bottom left. My chestnut Bay horse was stamped in Memento and colored with Dark Cajun Craze and Dark Smoky Slate Stampin' Blends.  The rope is just medium Baker's Twine.  Products are below.  Here's the inside. TURNABOUT STAMP - PLAYING WITH COLORFUL BACKGROUNDS

  Hello, Everyone -     I recently watched a YT video by Jennifer McGuire, where she made this type of colorful background.  Believe it or not, it is created with one stamp, called a Turnabout (by Concord & 9th).  The Turnabouts have been around for several years! This link, among several others, although mainly providing info on a "jig" which helps with using these stamps, also shows how to use the Turnabout stamps and great tips.   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7tccPeTlqCY   It takes a few preparation steps (you will need a Misti or Stamp-a-ma-Jog), but then you can go ahead and do several backgrounds and let your color ideas go wild.  Have fun! EASTER FUN

  Hey, Stampers -      I wish I could say these bunny ears were my idea, but I saw a similar idea on Pinterest, here .  Of course, I had to change it up to hiding bunnies. I used the large Daisy punch for the ears.  I'll probably add some bling to the background - sequins, pearls, SU! Fun Flowers Resin Shapes, etc., any would be cute.  The greeting is from DRS Designs.     If you don't have the fringe-cutting scissors, it really looks just as cute, and a little faster to make, with just a couple of layers of curved-edge cardstock with the bunnies tucked in between. You can also use just about any embossing folder for the background - I just happened to have this pre-embossed piece of So Saffron in my scraps basket. Cardstock is SU!: Highland Heather, Balmy Blue, Blushing Bride, Calypso Coral and Pear Pizzazz.  Happy Stampin’! Sue Duffy ~ mandsduffy@comcast.net
